Privacy Policy

This is my personal blog, and I don’t collect personal information about you. There are no accounts, comments or newsletter.

I use Google Analytics to see roughly how many people visit and which posts they read. It only runs if you click Accept on the cookie banner. It then sets cookies in your browser and sends Google anonymised usage data, such as the pages you view, your approximate location, and your browser and device type. I’ve turned on IP anonymisation, and I don’t use the data to identify anyone. If you decline, nothing is sent to Google, and you can change your mind by clearing this site’s data in your browser. See how Google uses data.

Like any web host, the site’s host sees normal request details, such as your IP address and browser type, so it can serve the pages and keep the site secure.

A few posts embed YouTube or Vimeo videos, and some older posts show images or link to other sites. Those are run by other people, who may use cookies and have their own privacy policies.

If you’ve emailed me and want to know what I have, or want it deleted, just ask. You can also complain to the ICO if you’re unhappy.

You can reach me at joanna @ dreamdevourer . com (without the spaces).

If anything changes, I’ll update this page.
